Rising Trails New Mexico is a community-based non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring that Rancho Del Chaparral Girl Scout Camp remains a place where future generations of New Mexico’s youth can build confidence, develop new skills, and forge lifelong connections- to nature, and to friends.

Rising Trails NM is an independent organization and is not affiliated with Girl Scouts of New Mexico Trails, though we share a common goal: preserving outdoor adventure opportunities for youth throughout our state.

Our Mission Includes:

Collaborating with the Girl Scouts of New Mexico Trails (GSNMT) as they evaluate Rancho’s future.
Supporting maintenance and program activities that keep the camp vibrant and accessible.
Advocating for transparency and community involvement in the property’s management.
Exploring options to help purchase or steward the camp if GSNMT decides to sell it.
